Weird and Unusual Pack

Weird and Unusual Pack

After having used the Kemper for a while I got to know sound wizard Bill Ruppert. He had put up some rigs on the Rig Exchange where he had profiled other guitar equipment than traditional guitar amps and there rigs works fine in some different musical context.

So I got it into my head that I should try to profile some weird and unusual products and product combinations. I started pulling out all old stuff I had sitting in storage and borrowing all kinds of things from friends. Then I started hooking up combinations never recommended by any sane technically oriented person. About 90% of the combinations were refused by the KPA. Of the remaining combination about half the profiles didn't sound at all like the equipment profiled. Some I still kept as the results were still musically valid. The profiles that sounded like intended were also fun.

In this pack you will get the ugliest, fuzziest faces and the biggest muffins next to ring modulated goodness. Synth basses with the filter controlled with a connected expression pedal. Lead synth sound with no latency with synth "pitch wheel capability" in the expression pedal. Synth brass? I think so! Humaniodz of different kinds. Octafuzz for fun.

I profiled all these things with an S/S/H guitar but I found that while the 30 rigs in this pack sounds somewhat different with different guitars, they seem to work well with every guitar I've tried them with.

In case you don't have a band to try this pack with, I've also included some of my tunes as backing tracks so you can have musical fun right away.

Please note that this Rig Pack is included in the Bundle + Bonus Rig Pack at a discounted price.

Please note that apart from the drums, that all the sounds in this clip were made by 6-string electric guitars and the Kemper.
